The British Natural Eyesight Conference 2008 is being organised by a team of people working in the field of natural eyesight teaching and it is sponsored by the Bates Association of Vision Education.
We are committed to sharing the work of Dr. Bates and to teaching the tools of natural vision education. We hope that many more people will benefit from the relief of strain the techniques bring about and discover a joy of seeing.
The Bates Association for Vision Education (BAVE)
BAVE is an organisation of teachers representing an unbroken line of Bates Method of natural eyesight teaching since Dr. Bates.
The Association
- maintains a register of qualified and insured teachers
- has an assessment process for people wanting to become teachers, ensuring good standards of practice
- provides information on vision education
Conference Coordinators
| Margaret Montgomery teaches in private practice, organises the low cost Bates Vision Clinic in London, and is a Co-Director of the College of Vision Education (Bates Method) and the Aspects of Vision in Focus workshops. | |
