This forward looking conference explores a natural approach to children's eyesight from a Bates Method perspective. It is for all parents, teachers, and others who are interested in learning more about natural eyesight methods which prevent deterioration of and improve eyesight.

Meir Schneider PhD LMT
Improving vision in children with congenital cataracts and other serious pathologies.
Meir will speak from his own experience of congenital cataracts and from his extensive experience with clients. He is an internationally respected educator, founder and director of the School for Self-Healing in San Francisco, USA, and author of many books including Self-Healing: My Life and Vision.

Esther van der Werf
Focus on Children's Eyes - Dr Bates and Emily Lierman's legacy of vision work with the young ones.
Esther loves to help people regain clear eyesight in a relaxed easy way using the original Bates Method. She is the founder of Visions of Joy, a school for natural vision education in California, USA. Her book "The Joy of Seeing" will be published soon.

Aileen Whiteford MSc
Supporting children with hyperopia (long-sight), strabismus (squint) and amblyopia (lazy eye) to grow with clear and well integrated eyesight.
Aileen is the co-founder of the College of Vision Education in London, UK and is a professional educator, counsellor and psychotherapist with many years of experience teaching and presenting internationally.

Caroline Penn & Nicholas Handoll
Osteopathic Foundations for Vision
Caroline is an osteopath with over 30 years experience. She teaches internationally and is the director of the Penn Clinic. She is an authority on problems in babies and a founder osteopath with the Foundation for Paediatric Osteopathy.
Nicholas is an osteopath and director of the Hereford Osteopathic Centre. He has taught for over 35 years both in England and overseas. He co-founded the Sutherland Cranial College and books he has written include Osteopathy in Britain (1986) and Anatomy of Potency (2000).

Richard Hobday
Sunlight in Childhood
Richard Hobday is a leading authority on the history and practice of sunlight therapy. He is the author of The Light Revolution: Health Architecture and the Sun (2006) and The Healing Sun: Sunlight and Health in the 21st Century (1999). See here for more information.
